FAQ
Answers about offline-first design, EUR pricing context, provenance, privacy, and launch timing.
- Will LootLink grow beyond Pokémon to other trading card games?
- LootLink starts with Pokémon because that is where we are putting the richest experience first. As the product grows, we plan to welcome other trading card games collectors care about - deliberately, once the experience feels ready to stretch without losing quality.
- Does LootLink upload my camera photos to identify cards?
- No. Card identification stays on your device – your camera photos are not uploaded for that.
- Why EUR / Cardmarket context matters
- EU collectors often buy and trade in EUR. LootLink emphasizes Cardmarket-oriented snapshots so you can reason in the currency you actually use.
- What is provenance in LootLink?
- A structured way to record how ownership changes over time - without deleting older steps when a card moves.
- Will LootLink work offline?
- Yes - offline-first is a core principle: your local database should keep your collection usable even when the network is poor.
- How do you compare to other collection apps?
- LootLink optimizes for EU collectors: EUR context, offline-first posture, provenance-first modeling, and privacy-minded roadmap - rather than generic global trackers.
- When can I download the app?
- App Store and Google Play links will appear at launch. Follow us on Threads or Instagram for the announcement.
- How do I get launch updates?
- Follow LootLink on Threads or Instagram — we post go-live news and milestones there. The website has no email signup.
